BLOCKBUSTER: Rudy Gobert Dealt To Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves have won the Rudy Gobert Sweepstakes. And the Utah Jazz have started the tear-down. Gobert is the first big domino to fall.

For the three-time Defensive Player of the Year, the Jazz receive a package including Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Walker Kessler, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro and, of course, multiple first-round picks. Four of them. Five if you include Kessler, who was selected with the 22nd pick in this year's draft.

The T-Wolves get themselves a frontcourt tandem of Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns that has few equals in the NBA. With Towns firing from long-range and Gobert providing that elite rim protection, the Wolves will be tough to deal with.

Yes, even without Patrick Beverley.

Reports are already circulating that the Jazz will now go after restricted free agent center Deandre Ayton from the Phoenix Suns.

Things are HAPPENING in Utah.
