Houston Rockets To Interview Warriors Coach For Head Coach Role

The Houston Rockets were expected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this past season, and they certainly didn't disappoint, but with a promising young group, there is a feeling around the league that this is a team that could take a huge leap forward in 2023/24.

First thing on the docket for them this off-season will be finding a new Head Coach, and now, they have reportedly received permission from the Golden State Warriors to interview associate Head Coach Kenny Atkinson, formerly the Head Coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

With Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Kevin Porter Jr. on the roster, they've certainly got the talent to make a push going forward, and after his work turning around the Nets in the D'Angelo Russell era, Atkinson could be a fantastic fit.
