LeBron James Becomes an Owner of the Boston Red Sox

LeBron James loves him some baseball and today a bomb was dropped that he and his best buddy Maverick Carter have bought a portion of the Boston Red Sox and will be joining their ownership group.

Source confirms @MikeSilvermanBB report: LeBron James is now a partner in Fenway Sports Group, making him a part-owner of the Boston Red Sox.

As one insider put it, if LeBron James is more involved with Baseball, that's a good thing on many levels. LeBron used to frequent the baseball games in Cleveland when he played for the Cavs and he's been seen all over stadiums in New York and LA. While his second favorite sport may be football, baseball isn't too far behind.
