Warriors Forward Ruled Out For Game 4

While speaking with reporters, Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said that Otto Porter Jr. will not be playing in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

Although the Warriors would love to have Porter Jr. in the lineup, it makes sense for him to sit out this game given his foot injury. He left Game 3 early and is still dealing with soreness because of it. Yet, with Golden State having a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Mavericks, they can afford to rest him right now.

In 63 games this regular season for the Warriors, Porter Jr. averaged 8.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
