Brooklyn Nets: Biggest Questions for Training Camp

As we continue to look ahead to the start of training camp in a few weeks, we turn our attention today to the biggest questions facing the Brooklyn Nets.

Fortunately for them, they already answered the $194M Question that was hanging over them, when they met with, and convinced, Kevin Durant to retract his trade demand, and at least start his 4-year, $194M contract in Brooklyn this season.

But there are other huge questions that will need to be answered come training camp and the start of games.

Big Question #1: How will Ben Simmons fit in, and perform, after more than a year off?

Since coming to the Nets at the trade deadline, Simmons has brought nothing but an interesting wardrobe to Brooklyn. When he first reported, there was a "mental readiness" question, then a back injury sidelined him for the rest of the season and the playoffs.

The three-time All-Star and two-time All-Defensive First Team selection hasn't suited up for an NBA game for over 14 months at this point. There's no doubt of his supreme talent, but the big question still has to linger: will he be ready to start the season? And when he does return, how will he fit in with the Nets?

Big Question #2: What will the dynamic be between Durant and Steve Nash?

KD's last big swing at trying to coerce a trade from owner Joe Tsai was a demand to fire head coach Nash and GM Sean Marks if Durant was to stay. How will those relationships continue now and how will it affect the team? Will it go something like this?

Short of hugging it out, it should be very interesting to see how this all shakes out when they all report for camp.
