NBA Rumors: Reggie Jackson Has Suitor Waiting On A Buyout

Reggie Jackson had a rocky season with the Los Angeles Clippers. He began the year as the starting point guard, but quickly fell out of the rotation completely. He recently won back some time on the second unit, but in the end, the Clippers decided to move on, and dealt him to the Charlotte Hornets today for big man Mason Plumlee. Shams Charania reports that the Hornets will agree to a contract buyout

So where will the 12-year veteran wind up?

NBA Insider Chris Haynes says "expect the Phoenix Suns to come in there and try to get his services."

The Suns' backcourt has been racked by injuries all season, with Chris Paul missing 21 games due to various ailments, and Devin Booker only just returning Tuesday night after missing a month and a half and 21 games with a groin strain. He'll sit out Thursday's game.

Cameron Payne and Saben Lee are the others on the guard depth chart.

Jackson is averaging 10.9 points and 3.5 assists this season, and 12.9 points and 4.2 assists in 12 seasons.
