Video: LaMelo Ball Impressive as Hornets Blow Out Mavericks

It may have taken a few games but LaMelo Ball has shown flashes of brilliance and on Wednesday night he put it all together. Ball led the Charlotte Hornets to a blow out victory over the Dallas Mavericks 118-99.

In what was no doubt his best game as a pro, Ball finished with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and made 4 threes. Ball and company ruined the Mavericks home opener, and have now strung together two wins in a row.

Terry Rozier chipped in with 18 points and Miles Bridges had himself a game, finishing with 20 points and 16 rebounds.

As for Ball, he will continue to get slowly worked into the rotation as he's yet to play substantial minutes for the Hornets. Expect to see nights like this where he can be the best player on the court, and expect nights where he struggles.

Welcome to the league, kid.
