BREAKING: LaMelo Ball Done For The Season

Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball is officially done for the season after suffering a fractured right ankle during their game against the Detroit Pistons Monday night.

Ball went down without contact with 9:26 left in the third quarter and did not return. X-rays later revealed a fracture in his right ankle.

The 21-year-old finished the game with 18 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Injuries have plagued Ball as he has suffered several left ankle sprains this season. He finishes his third NBA campaign with averages of 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 8.4 assists in just 36 games.

As for the Hornets, they should be well on their way to a top pick in the 2023 NBA draft despite having won five straight contests.

They currently sit at 14th in the East standings with a 20-43 mark and have the 4th worst record in the entire NBA.
