Los Angeles Clippers' Norman Powell Injures Arm

The Los Angeles Clippers had a tough Thursday night. Not only did they lose to the Golden State Warriors 115-91, but they also appear to have suffered an injury to a key player. Normal Powell was spotted with his left arm in a sling following last night's game.

Powell had a rough evening, hitting only one of his nine field goal attempts while totalling two points, two rebounds, and one assist in a little under 21 minutes. For the season, he has averaged a respectable 16.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game with a respectable .611 true shooting percentage. He has provided solid value to the Clippers off the bench over his 54 appearances.

The Clippers are 33-32 and seventh in the Western Conference, but things haven't been going smoothly of late. They're 2-6 over their last eight games, and trade deadline acquisition Russell Westbrook has yet to provide them with the spark they expected. A team with a healthy Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will always get the benefit of the doubt come playoff time, but the Clippers seem poised for another disappointing season. Their championship window is closing rapidly.

The Clippers visit the Sacramento Kings Friday night in the second game of a back-to-back.
