T-Wolves Malik Beasley released from jail after being arrested on multiple charges

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Malik Beasley has been released from jail following his arrest over the weekend. The T-Wolves forward was arrested on charges of marijuana possession and receiving and concealing stolen weapons.

Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first to report the news on the soon to be restricted free agent. The T-Wolves forward played 14 games with Minnesota after being acquired via trade and was impressive in his run. 20.7 ppg and deadly from behind the arc, it's expected the T-Wolves would like to have Beasley back in the fold.

Beasley's attorney had this to say:

At the time of the incident, multiple individuals were present at the residence. The allegations against Malik will be defended vigorously.

The team is aware of the situation and monitoring it closely as mini-camps continue in Minnesota.
