Miami Heat To Receive a Boost For Game 3 - Will It Be Enough?

The Miami Heat need serious help - and quickly. Enter Bam Adebayo.

The versatile 6'9" big man is set to make his return in Game 3 of The Finals. According to none other than Bam himself, he is fit to play.

Unfortunately for the Heat, Anthony Davis is cooking with gas right now and not even the addition of Adebayo may help. Davis' first two games of The Finals have been a showcase of his immense talents. His Game 1 line of 34p/9r/5a with 3 blocks was just an appetizer for Game 2 - 32 points and 14 rebounds on an ultra efficient 15/20 shooting.

Adding insult to injury (no pun intended), they may not have Goran Dragic for the rest of the series. Dragic left Game 1 late in the second quarter with a tear of the plantar fascia. For those of you that need to brush up on your medical knowledge, here you go. During the Heat's bubble run, Dragic has been Miami's number two scorer (19.9 PPG), a more than capable distributor of the ball (4.6 AST) and has the ability to take over stretches of any basketball game. If the left-handed Slovenian is somehow able to get back on the court, it would add an extra bit of zip to Miami's lineup.

Right now, the Lakers look like a runaway freight train, and the only way the Heat can extend this series and make it competitive, is if they get Adebayo and Dragic back, healthy or not.
