Miami Trade Rumors Are Heating Up!

The Miami Heat almost won the NBA Championship after Jimmy Butler went full beast mode in the Bubble, as the guy didn't even invite a single family member to Orlando, stating it was a 'business trip'.

All business it was, as Butler and company came two wins away from upsetting LeBron and the Lakers and the Heat now shift their focus to next season. It's likely the team won't re-sign Goran Dragic and will have a hole to fill at point-guard. Bam Adebayo is also due a new contract and is expected to receive a significant raise.

So, What's Next for the Heat?

According to multiple reports the team is trying to acquire another 'piece' for a run next season, who is on a short-term deal that won't mess with the team's plans to pursue the superstar free agent class coming after next season.

Enter, Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors, as Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report points out, Lowry is the perfect fit for the Heat. One problem, good luck getting the franchise star out of Toronto.

Any deal for Lowry, and especially to an eastern conference team is very unlikely, so expect the Raptors to make any team pay a King's ransom for the point-guard from Philly.

Duncan Robinson, Kelly Olynyk and a combination of draft picks may be enough for at least a conversation with Raptors president Masai Ujiri.

It's likely he's going to hang up after a 'no thank-you' though, so the Heat may have to look elsewhere for a new point guard.
