NBA Expects Roughly 10 Teams Will Host Fans to Start Next Season

Great news for some NBA fans as according to reports, the league expects to see 5-10 teams host some fans next month when the 2020-21 NBA season kicks off.

This news comes after the Golden State Warriors announced the owner was spending $30 million in a plan that would safely permit 50% fan capacity at Chase Center, including the use of private suites and having fans scattered throughout the arena.

This makes for at least some in-game environment and a sense of normalcy, as the league continues to try and operate safely through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Expect to see some type of rapid testing throughout the year for fans who attend games, as health officials continue to work with the league on getting their buildings and pockets filled back up.

One team to watch for is the Toronto Raptors, who are battling the Canadian government to allow teams to cross the border. If they cannot get approval, expect to see the Raptors playing out of Tampa Bay.
