Thon Maker is on the Move

The Cleveland Cavaliers were in the market for some size and they don't get much taller than Thon Maker. The Cavs and the free agent have agreed to a contract, a non-guaranteed deal, which is essentially just an invitation to training camp, but hey, it's a shot.

The 7-foot 23-year-old hasn't been given significant minutes in the league as of yet, but his career is still young. Last year for the Detroit Pistons, Maker finished the season by averaging 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in just under 13 minutes a night. 

The former 10th overall pick never found a place with the Milwaukee Bucks and moved on to the Pistons via trade in 2019, now Maker heads to the Cavs to help replace Tristan Thompson's minutes now that the long-time Cav signed in Boston.
