Wizards GM Comments on John Wall Trade Rumors

The Washington Wizards have always been loyal to John Wall and it looks like that's not changing any time soon. Reports surfaced that John Wall was 'pissed off' with his name showing up in trade rumors surrounding the Wizards and the Houston Rockets' Russell Westbrook.

Turns out, if you ask Wizards GM, Tommy Sheppard, there's nothing to it:

Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard said John Wall hasn't requested a trade. He says he and Wall and Beal have always been on the "same wave." Sheppard says he talks with Wall every other day: "There's no issue with John and I, with John and the Wizards."

Wall has battled injuries the past few seasons and ended up missing all of last year with an Achilles injury. The ownership group has been adamant to shut down any Bradley Beal trade rumors and now it's John Wall's turn.

Looks like the core in Washington isn't changing any time soon!
