VIDEO: Thomas Bryant Out for the Season

Washington Wizards Center Thomas Bryant left last night's contest less than 2 minutes into the 1st quarter against the Miami Heat. It was immediately believed that Bryant hurt his ankle, but was later confirmed to be a knee injury.

Unfortunately for Bryant and the Wizards, reports surfaced today that he has a torn ACL.

Bryant, in his 4th NBA season as a 2nd round draft pick, was having an excellent start to the year - averaging a career high 14.3 ppg on a ridiculous 64.8% FG. Bryant had an unreal 3-game stretch where he rarely missed: 10/11 FG on Dec. 31st vs. Chicago, 7/7 FG vs. Minnesota on Jan. 1st & 9/12 FG vs. Brooklyn on Jan. 3rd. No doubt fantasy basketball managers (including yours truly) are hurt by this injury to an ultra-efficient player.
