Warriors and Pelicans Talking Blockbuster Trade

The Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans are discussing a trade involving Kelly Oubre Jr heading to the Pelicans and one of Lonzo Ball or JJ Redick heading the other way.

Oubre has been disappointing so far for the Warriors who have been battling injury troubles before the season even began. The 6'7 lanky swingman is averaging 11.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, but what's the most surprising stat, he's shooting 21.8% from three. That's flat out not going to cut it in Steve Kerr's offense and it's not surprise the team is ready to move on from their experiment.

As for the Pelicans, they have been discussing Lonzo Ball with several teams the past few weeks, which we brought to you earlier this month. The team is expected to move Ball and the Warriors have long been interested.

In 12 games this season, Ball is averaging 12.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. His next game could be in a new jersey....
