Ryan Saunders is Out in Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves have made Ryan Saunders the first coaching casualty of the season, as the 7-24 Wolves have dismissed their head coach. Somewhat shockingly they have already replaced him with Raptors assistant coach Chris Finch.

Minnesota has gone through a tough year, as they've been without their franchise player Karl-Anthony Towns for large portions. D'Angelo Russell is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. 1st overall pick Anthony Edwards had a slow start to the year, but has been picking it up lately. Even his recent improvements haven't been enough to turn the Timberwolves around. Perhaps the new hire will be able to give Minnesota hope moving forward.
