Golden State Trying To Acquire Houston's Victor Oladipo

The Victor Oladipo sweepstakes are running full steam as the Houston Rockets are likely to move the shooting-guard before the March 25th trade deadline. The latest team to contact the Rockets appears to be the Golden State Warriors.

According to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, the Warriors are considering bringing Oladipo on board as they are attracted to him for multiple reasons including the make up of his game and his pending free-agency.

The two-time All-Star is enjoying his time so far in Houston, however it's been reported he turned down a two-year extension with the team as he's seeking longer-term. The Warriors aren't worried about extension talks at this time as they won't have any room to fit Oladipo in. This is solely a move to sure up their roster for these playoffs.

So far in an up-and-down campaign Oladipo is averaging 20 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game through his 24 games between the Indiana Pacers and Rockets.

This past week we shared the news Oladipo was also getting interest from the New York Knicks and the noise is certainly going to pick up over the next two weeks.
