Cervical Strain Injury Can't Keep Luka Doncic from Game 4

With the Dallas Mavericks calling Luka Doncic' neck injury from Game 3 a 'cervical strain', most fans' reaction to that is... "Huh?".

According to injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar, DPT (Doctor of Physio) what this could mean is one of two things: A nerve injury or a muscular issue.

As Dr. Brar explains, either way, massage and heat therapy are the treatments, to alleviate muscle tightness. The therapies can even be carried out during the upcoming game. The team has already confirmed that Doncic WILL play in Game 4 Sunday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

And the good news, also pointed out by Dr. Brar, is that Doncic clearly wasn't affected much by the injury during the last game, as he tallied a career playoff-high 44 points.

Meanwhile, Clippers' big man Serge Ibaka is still suffering from a back injury, and will miss his second straight game in tonight's critical Game 4 of this series.
