VIDEO: Fan tackled on court in Washington As Unruly Spectator Behavior Continues

Well, here we go again. A fan ran onto the court during play in the 3rd quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers-Washington Wizards game tonight in D.C.

The man ran towards the Wizards' basket and tried to jump and touch the rim, before being resoundly tackled by building security.

After the recent rash of unruly fan behavior, including one who threw popcorn on Wizards guard Russell Westbrook earlier this series in Philadelphia, it's hard to understand what this clown might have been thinking. The NBA released a statement on the weekend stating that fan misconduct will be vigorously dealt with.

Players around the league are on high alert after no less than four incidents in recent days. Sunday night, a fan in Boston was arrested and banned for life from TD Garden, for tossing a water bottle that narrowly missed the head of Brooklyn's Kyrie Irving.

A Wizards team statement says that tonight's rogue fan "will be banned from the arena and charges are being pursued with DC MPD".
