Utah Jazz Donovan Mitchell Pissed Off At His Head Coach & Training Staff

Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz doesn't like being held out of games if he's healthy enough to play, and you can't blame him for that. Mitchell felt he was good to go for Game 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies and was 'incensed' to be held out.

The news dropped just a couple of hours before the game and let's just say it was not well received. The club's decision has reportedly 'deepened tensions' between the two as there's been lots of drama surrounding his ankle injury rehab. The 24-year-old has dealt with push back from the training staff over his health and rehab progress. The team is hopeful he's able to be cleared for Game 2.

The tension between the two sides has boiled over so much, Mitchell has started to use his own training staff. This is something to monitor into next season as if the trust is broken, a trade could be on the way.

Mitchell is coming off a great season, averaging 26.4 ppg to go along with 5.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds. He finished in 11th in the league in scoring and was a huge piece of the Jazz success. Let's see how things unfold in Game 2 and beyond.
