Video: Kings Spoil the Return of LeBron James for the Lakers

The Sacramento Kings didn't care about Friday's news that LeBron James would be returning to the Los Angeles Lakers lineup, they just wanted to win a ball game. And wouldn't you know, even with James returning to the lineup to drop 16 points, the Kings rallied to a 110-106 victory.

One of the funniest moments of the day was when the news was released LeBron would be playing, and the Kings twitter account took it away:

It was LBJ's first game since March 20th when he went down with an ankle injury and his first game after missing 20 games. James ended up playing 32 minutes and shot 6/12 from the field. The ball was in his hands with the game on the line and James missed a go-ahead three with 2.7 seconds left in the game. The Lakers have now lost five of their past six games.

As for the Kings, rookie Tyrese Halburton led the team wtih 23 points and 10 dimes and Richaun Holmes added 17 points of his own. The Kings had Marvin Bagley III back in their lineup for the first time since March 15th and he scored 11 points in 21 minutes. The Kings now take on the Dallas Mavericks next on Sunday while the Lakers host the Toronto Raptors.

All hail to the return of the King:
