Video: Russell Westbrook Puts on Historic Show vs Pacers

The Washington Wizards and the NBA is lucky to have Russell Westbrook in their lives as the point-guard is making history right in front of our eyes. Monday night was another example of how dominant Westbrook can be as he led the Wiz to a 154-141 victory over the Indiana Pacers and boy oh boy did he put up some monster numbers.

Westbrook finished the game with 14 points, 24 assists and 21 rebounds!!! It was a new career high for rebounds in a game, and the dimes matched a franchise record for the Wizards, dating back to the 1980's.

Wizards head coach Scott Brooks has been lucky to watch Westbrook's greatness for years dating back to Oklahoma City Thunder days had some very high praise for his point guard after the game. According to Fred Katz of The Athletic, Brooks called Westbrook the second best point guard in the history of the NBA behind only Magic Johnson. Brooks went on to say that point guards don't do what he does, and he's certainly on to something. Westbrook is a special special player and someone quite frankly we may take for granted.

With seven games remaining this season we could see some NBA history as Westbrook who sits at 178 needs only four more triple-doubles to pass Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson (181) for most all-time. The Wiz currently sit in the 10th spot and appear set for the final play-in spot.

Witness some history as Westbrook went OFF:
