CJ McCollum Clowns Giannis after Bucks Loss

Portland guard CJ McCollum was feeling dangerous on Twitter this evening, wasting no time calling out former back-to-back MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo for his supposed lack of defense against Kevin Durant in tonight's game. Giannis, who has now been selected as a NBA All-Defensive First-Team player for the last three seasons, was subjected tonight not only to Kevin Durant’s 49-point triple-double, but also to CJ’s tweet:

McCollum’s commentary didn’t go unnoticed, either. Even Wizards star Bradley Beal, who is known for his expressiveness on social media, told CJ to “chill”. Still, McCollum was feeling it, as he also brought Draymond Green into the Twitter mix.

It is also worth noting that McCollum may have been enabled by at least one alcoholic beverage tonight, as he documented in his reply to Beal:

Either way, it’s comforting to know that both Kevin Durant and CJ McCollum were feeling dangerous tonight, even if only one of them was ultimately contributing to winning basketball. Durant and the Nets hope to take the series victory against the Bucks on Thursday at 8:30 P.M. E.T.
