Trade Rumor: Houston Rockets Looking to Unload Talented Guard

The Houston Rockets were the worst team in the NBA last season and may have been the most dramatic off the court. From the likes of the James Harden fiasco, the Russell Westbrook for John Wall swap and the non-stop injuries, Rockets fans were sent through the ringer. The team finished with a 17-55 record, and are looking to make some adjustments heading into next season. One name to watch for is shooting guard Eric Gordon.

The 32-year-old scorer has multiple years left on his contract, paying him just under $20 million. The Rockets will be looking to move Gordon this summer, and should be able to find a home for his 17.8 points per game. The only issue with Gordon is, that's all he does is score. And at almost $20 million per season, is that really good value?

There's going to be some interest, as it's not easy to score in the Association and sometimes Gordon make it look easy. The likes of the Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings will all have different levels of interest. This offseason is setting itself up to be one of the most entertaining in recent years, and the Houston Rockets and their trade partners will be dead smack in the middle of it all.
