LeBron James' "The Decision" is Eleven Years Old Today

Eleven years ago today one of the most odd, iconic, awkward, weird, sensational and landscape-altering announcements was made by LeBron James on ESPN, with Jim Gray moderating the event. It was on the 75 minute TV special The Decision that James let everyone know he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami.
Click here to see the moment where the notorious words were spoken by LBJ, and if you want to get Jim Gray's perspective on the televised event, check this out, as he went on The Herd with Colin Cowherd to discuss the events of that night, amongst others.

The aftermath of the move to South Beach not only shook the landscape of the Eastern Conference and the NBA, but it also made James arguably the most vilified player in the NBA, and cast the Heat as the bad guys everywhere they went. Unfortunately, what most forget is the large sum of money that was raised as a result of The Decision as James raised north of $2.5M for the Boys & Girls Club.

Where were you when The Decision was made? What was your reaction?
