New Orleans Pelicans Introduce Head Coach Willie Green

The New Orleans Pelicans introduced new head coach Willie Green to the media and fans on Tuesday, and the former New Orleans Hornets player looked back fondly upon his days in the city as a player.
Some critics of the new head coach have voiced concern with Green's X's and O's knowledge, however Green doesn't see it that way, noting that the NBA is a people-first environment. As well, Chris Paul recently spoke about Green and said "he'll be the most humble, prepared coach you've ever seen in your life".
Green has reportedly already connected well with current Pelicans assistants, as most were on hand for the media introduction.
Green and his staff have quite a mountain to climb to get the team back into the playoffs - the Pelicans have only made the playoffs twice since rebranding away from the Hornets in the 2013-14 season. Luckily, they have superstar Zion Williamson, who is coming off a spectacular year - averaging 27.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 3.7 apg on a ridiculous 61.1 FG%. Other than Zion and the newly acquired Jonas Valanciunas, the rest of the Pels lineup is open for interpretation, as many sources have Brandon Ingram being shipped out of town.
With so much still up in the air, we'll have to wait and see what new coach Green has to work with in the Big Easy. Regardless, the first year head coach will be in tough to deliver on high expectations.
