Rumor: Raptors and Pelicans Discussing Sign-and-Trade

The Toronto Raptors will have to get ready for life without Kyle Lowry as growing reports suggest he's ready to move on from the franchise. The latest has him headed to the New Orleans Pelicans as the Pelicans are trying to surround Zion Williamson with proven talent.

While Lowry is getting up there in age, he's still a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. The bulldog mentality is something both Zion and Brandon Ingram could learn a lot from and while Lowry may be past his prime, he's not that far off. Last season with the Raptors he recorded 17.2 ppg, 7.3 apg,  and 5.4 rpg, which all things considered was one of his best statistical seasons of his career.

A sign-and-trade could be coming between the Pels and Raps and Lonzo Ball would be a part of the package headed north. Keep an eye on these two teams and New Orleans won't be the only one in hot pursuit of K Lo.
