Report: John Collins and Atlanta Hawks Agree on Contract

One day after locking up franchise point guard Trae Young to a massive extension, the Atlanta Hawks have now secured the services of forward John Collins, as the team has signed the restricted free agent to a five-year, $125M deal.
Collins has enjoyed a great start to his NBA career, producing numbers not often seen around the league, and despite a scoring and rebounding dip last year, the Hawks were quite pleased with his play. The team asked to him to change his game to better suit the team - especially in making room on the court for fellow big Clint Capela - who had a career year last season with the Hawks.

For those that think this may be a bit pricey, Bobby Marks seems to think this is a great middle ground for the Hawks and Collins to meet.

Here's hoping we'll see many more plays like this in Hotlanta in the future...
