Stephen Curry To Sign Massive Extension With Golden State Warriors

According to Marc Stein, the Golden State Warriors are on the verge of signing Stephen Curry to a four-year, $215 million extension. It would start during the 2022-23 season, as he has one year left on his current contract.

Curry has spent the entirety of his NBA career with the Warriors and has grown into the face of their franchise. Over his 12-year career thus far, Curry has led the team to three championship titles, is a two-time scoring champ and has made it to seven All-Star games.

At 33-years-old, he is still one of the most dominant shooters in all of basketball and this past season makes this abundantly clear. In 63 games, he averaged 32 PPG, which was at the top of the NBA. He also had averaged 5.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game to go along with that.

Once this deal is finalized, Curry will be under contract until the end of the 2025-26 season. Warrior fans should be ecstatic about this, as their superstar is here to stay for the long-term.
