Portland Trail Blazers Add Veteran Forward

The Portland Trail Blazers are going to give Patrick Patterson a look, as the team is bringing in the veteran forward to training camp. This according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Patterson is a versatile forward who has some inside and outside game. Now 32, Patterson knows he needs to make an impact this season to stay in the league. In the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, Patterson put up 5.0 ppg and 2.3 rpg. He shot 37.7% from deep, playing in roughly 14 minutes a night. He's been a very capable bench player for years now and if he can stay healthy and produce, Portland may have a steal on their hands.

The Trail Blazers love giving veterans their 'last shot'. Just ask Carmelo Anthony as the Blazers were the team to finally get 'Melo' back into the league. The team has also recently done so, having Michael Beasley and Kenneth Faried suit up for their summer league teams.
