Kevin Huerter Signs Extension with Hawks

Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Kevin Huerter has signed a four-year, $65 million rookie extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski:

The Hawks' commitment to Huerter is likely partially the result of his impressive performances during last year's playoff run, including a 27-point game against the Philadelphia 76ers:

Huerter will be entering his fourth NBA season this year. Over the last three seasons, he has averaged 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, according to basketball-reference.

The Hawks' season debut is against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 P.M. EST.
