Thursday Game Between Nets And Trail Blazers Postponed

For those of you who were looking forward to watching the Brooklyn Nets and Portland Trail Blazers play on Thursday night, we sadly have bad news for you. The NBA has announced that the contest has been postponed.
This ultimately isn't surprising at all, as the majority of Brooklyn's roster is currently in COVID-19 protocol. With that, they do not have eight players available to play. These reasons are exactly why their Sunday game against the Denver Nuggets and Tuesday game vs. the Washington Wizards were cancelled, too. At this juncture, the Nets have 10 players in protocol.

It makes sense for the NBA to decide to postpone this game, especially when remembering that the Nets have a Christmas Day game against the Los Angeles Lakers. They are going to try to do whatever it takes to ensure that game will be played. Of course, Christmas games are among the most watched during the regular season.

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when their game against Portland will be rescheduled.
