NBA Rumors: Bulls To Target 3 Players

According to Rob Schaefer, the Chicago Bulls could end up targeting Jerami Grant, Harrison Barnes, and Nicolas Batum.

At this time, the Bulls have multiple injuries. Patrick Williams, Javonte Green, and Derrick Jones are all out for a long period, so it would be wise for them to make some additions to their roster. Keep in mind, they have a 27-14 record and are at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Grant is currently out with a thumb injury but should be back soon. He is having himself an excellent season with the Detroit Pistons, as he is averaging 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest. The Pistons have a 10-32 record, so they are destined to be sellers. Thus, the Bulls should try to take advantage of that and pursue Grant.

Speaking of sellers, the Kings are likely to fit that description, too. They have an 18-28 record and the playoffs appear to be out of reach. Thus, Barnes is an interesting trade target from them. In 41 games this season, he is averaging 16.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.

Batum could also be a very strong addition to the Bulls. In 25 games this season with the Los Angeles Clippers, he is averaging 8.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

Let's see if the Bulls end up acquiring someone from this trio of players.
