Dallas Mavericks Sign Forward
The Dallas Mavericks have signed Moses Wright to a two-way NBA contract.
Wright has spent this season with the Agua Caliente Clippers of the G League. In 17 games with the team, he averaged 17.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. Overall, the 23-year-old was having himself a very strong campaign with the team - hence why he has now earned this sweet two-way deal with the Mavericks.
Wright also appeared in one game with the Los Angeles Clippers this season, too. In it, he had an assist in one minute played. This is where his NBA experience ends, so the rookie will be ecstatic to have the chance to build on it with the Mavericks. It will be intriguing to see how he responds to the change of scenery.
At this point of the season, Dallas sports a 35-24 record and is fifth place in the Western Conference. They are currently gearing up for the playoffs, so it is smart of them to add another depth player in Wright.
