James Harden Set To Make Debut With 76ers
James Harden is set to make his debut for the Philadelphia 76ers during Friday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Harden was of course traded at the deadline to the 76ers from the Brooklyn Nets in the biggest deal of the day. Understandably, there is a lot of excitement about the 32-year-old joining Philadelphia. At this time, they have a 35-23 record and now should only get better by adding the 10-time NBA All-Star.
In 44 games this season with the Nets, Harden averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 10.2 assists. Overall, it's been another very strong season from the star, and he should only continue to play well from here. This is especially true when remembering that he is now teammates with Joel Embiid, too.
In 921 career games between the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and Nets, Harden has averaged 25.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists. With that, he most notably was named NBA MVP back in 2018 among his many accomplishments. It will be fun to see how his tenure with the 76ers goes from here.
