Major Help On The Way For Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are getting a major boost for their game against the New York Knicks, as LeBron James is set to return to the lineup.

James has missed Los Angeles' last five games due to a knee injury. However, the superstar is finally ready to return, and it couldn't have come at a better time. After winning just four of their last 10 games, the Lakers now have a 25-28 record and are ninth in the Western Conference. This is far too low for their standards, so they will be hoping that James' return can help them go on a nice winning streak.

Even at 37 years old, James is once again having a very good season with the Lakers. In 36 games thus far, he is averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. It's hard to find much better production than that in the sport, so Los Angeles should be able to play far better from here.

With the Lakers so low in the standings right now, it will be interesting to see if James brings his game up to an entirely higher level. Alas, we will now be able to have that question answered, as he is finally coming back.
