NBA Rumors: "Everyone Outside Of Tatum & Brown" Available

The Boston Celtics have won three in a row, and still have designs on being a factor in the East down the stretch. But that doesn't mean they aren't looking at ways of upgrading their roster.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, "I think the Celtics are at a point they need to do something... I think they're exploring a lot of different opportunities, but I would think everyone outside of (Jayson) Tatum and (Jaylen) Brown are available to get dealt if the right opportunity presented itself to the Celtics."

On NBC Sports' Pro Basketball Talk podcast, Fischer listed Dennis Schroder as the most likely to be dealt, as the Celtics have "clear designs to get under the tax." Schroder is on a one-year bargain $5.9 contract, and with those tax concerns, Boston likely won't be able to spend this offseason to retain him. One team looking to take him off their hands is the Chicago Bulls. They've also called Phoenix, Dallas and "a handful of other" teams about Schroder, according to Fischer.

Many Celtics players available at trade deadline

But he's not the only name available; "Marcus Smart's name has always been out there, but from several people I've talked to, conversations are a little more serious than before. A lot of teams have called about Robert Williams, I don't know of Boston's willingness to part with him." Other names include Josh Richardson and Al Horford that the C's have taken calls on.

Smart's return to the lineup this month has led to this little resurgence, however, leading some to question whether he should be dealt.

One week until D-day for the C's.
