NBA Rumors: Mavs "Aggressively Shopping" Hardaway Jr., Have Two Suitors

The Dallas Mavericks are desperately trying to get some help for their push down the stretch, and it appears that their best asset is the injured Tim Hardaway Jr.

He's out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his foot. He's also newly-signed for 4 years and $72M as of this season.

Matt Moore of the Action Network reports: “THJ is the player the Mavericks have most aggressively shopped, with the Los Angeles Clippers and Indiana Pacers both showing interest. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle is a big fan of THJ’s from his time in Dallas.”

The Clippers are also busy trying to re-tool their roster for whenever Kawhi Leonard and Paul George return.

While the Mavs sit 5th in the West, they clearly feel that having some active help for Luka Doncic down the stretch would be worth dealing Hardaway for.

The Mavs have been tied to rumors of them pursuing Buddy Hield (on a flip from Indiana who just traded for him this week), as well as the Toronto Raptors' estranged guard Goran Dragic, and even the Cleveland Cavaliers' Cedi Osman.
