Suns And Wizards Complete Trade

The Phoenix Suns have acquired Aaron Holiday from the Washington Wizards in exchange for cash considerations.

Holiday was in his first season with Washington, but now his tenure with the franchise has already come to a close. In 41 games this campaign with them, he averaged 6.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. With the Suns, he will likely be a role player, but that certainly isn't a bad thing. With Phoenix sporting a 44-10 record, they should have as much as possible for the playoffs.

In 223 career NBA games between the Indiana Pacers and Wizards, Holiday has averaged 7.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Now, the 25-year-old will have the opportunity to build on his numbers as a member of the Suns.

Overall, this won't be noted as one of the biggest splashes of this deadline day, but it still has the possibility of being a positive one for the Suns. In fact, it virtually comes with zero risk.
