Warriors Forward Ruled Out For All-Star Game

While speaking to reporters, Draymond Green noted that he will likely be out for the next three to four weeks due to his current lower-back disc injury. With this, he also stated that he will not be participating in the All-Star Game.

Green was set to play in his fourth All-Star Game, but due to his current injury, it makes sense for him to play things safe and rest. The Warriors currently have a 40-13 record and are looking like a team ready to go on a long playoff run. However, for them to potentially win their first NBA championship since 2018, they obviously need Green to be healthy.

In 34 games this season, Green has averaged 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. Overall, he has once again been playing a very well-rounded game, and the Warriors were thriving with him in the lineup because of it. Yet, unfortunately, they are set to be without him for even more time.

It's a shame that Green won't be able to play in the All-Star Game, but at the end of the day, it also seems like the right move on his end.
