NBA Rumors: Clippers Shopping 2 Players

According to David Aldridge and Josh Robbins of The Athletic, the Los Angeles Clippers are open to moving both Ivica Zubac and Nicolas Batum by the trade deadline.

The Clippers are currently eighth in the Western Conference with a 26-27 record. They are aiming to make multiple changes to their roster, as other players like Eric Bledsoe, Marcus Morris, and Serge Ibaka are all currently on the trading block, too. Therefore, we should be seeing the Clippers make a lot of moves before the deadline is officially here.

Zubac is a player who should get a lot of attention on the market. In 48 games this season, he has averaged 9.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Although he hasn't been offensively dominant, he has certainly played a solid all-around. He is also still just 24 years old, so there is further room for improvement, too. Teams in need of a big man should certainly be targeting him moving forward.

Batum could be an appealing option to teams - whether utilized as a starter or role player. The veteran is once again having himself a solid campaign, as he's averaging 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. He also is capable of playing small forward, shooting guard, and even power forward, so he offers a nice mix of versatility. That is always a nice bonus.

Alas, it will be intriguing to see if the Clippers opt to trade these two players.
