Bucks Center Inching Closer To Return

The Milwaukee Bucks should be getting their center back shortly, as Brook Lopez has been cleared to participate in five-on-five practices with contact.

Lopez has played in just one game this season due to a back injury that required surgery. He certainly is missed in Milwaukee's lineup, as his defensive play was a notable reason why they won the championship last season. During his one contest this campaign, he had eight points and five rebounds.

At this point of the season, the Bucks have a 39-25 record and are third in the Eastern Conference. Overall, it's been another very good season for them, but they would love to head into the playoffs with their top center back. If Lopez continues to progress this well, this should come to fruition.

In 856 career games between the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Bucks, Lopez has averaged 16.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Here's to hoping he will be able to build on these totals before the season is completed.
