NBA Rumors: East Contender A "Legitimate Suitor" For Bradley Beal

The Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal has a big decision to make this summer. He has a 5-year, $245M contract extension waiting for him from the Wizards should he so desire, or he could seek a trade to a contender. And according to NBA Insider Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Miami Heat are just that contender Beal might be looking for:
The Heat are seen as a legitimate suitor for Beal should he elect to seek a new home, multiple sources said.

Because of their cap situation, Charania says the Heat would have to swing a sign-and-trade to make it happen. Miami certainly has some talented young players that they could offer in return, with names like Caleb Martin and Max Strus coming to mind.

For now, Beal is still publicly saying that he's "leaning towards" re-signing with the Wizards, even though there have been reports that it's "no slam dunk" that he returns to DC.

Beal had season-ending wrist surgery on Feb. 10th, but should be fully recovered for next season.

The 28-year-old Beal has spent his entire 10-year career in Washington, averaging 22.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists, along with 37% three-point shooting.
