Toronto Raptors Guard Out Indefinitely

Toronto Raptors guard Malachi Flynn has a strained left hamstring and will be out indefinitely.

Flynn sustained his injury during Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. It certainly came at a very rough time for the 23-year-old, as he had recorded 20 points and eight assists. Right as it seemed that he was going to go on a hot streak, this injury occurred and ruined it.

In 40 games this season, Flynn has averaged 4.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. He has primarily come off the bench for the team, as he only has started in five games and has averaged just 12.0 minutes per contest.

The Raptors selected Flynn in the first round of the 2020 NBA draft, so he is expected to have a bright future in this league. Once he is able to return from injury, here's to hoping he can continue to put up performances like his last one. Until then, however, he will, unfortunately, be sidelined.
