DeMarcus Cousins Finds A New Way To Incur Fine From NBA

DeMarcus Cousins has been fined in the millions of dollars over the course of his career for numerous actions, including on-court altercations with opponents, directing obscenities at fans and media, criticizing refs, and more. This week, the Denver Nuggets center found a new way to lose money to the NBA coffers.

Yes, Cousins was fined $15,000 for kicking towels into the stands. It occurred after he picked up a foul and was coming out of the game midway through the 2nd quarter. As he walked to the end of the Nuggets bench he hoofed a stack of towels that ended up flying onto some fans.

Cousins picked up 4 fouls in just 10 minutes in the Nuggets' Game 4 win over the Golden State Warriors, a game that staved off elimination for Denver. Cousins also scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.

Over the course of the 4-game series, Cousins is averaging 10.5 minutes, 8.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. The Warriors lead the series 3-1.
