Phoenix Suns Waive Big Man

With their playoff run about to begin, the Phoenix Suns have made a change to their roster and waived Frank Kaminsky.

Perhaps this decision is one that we could have seen coming. Kaminsky has been out since November due to a stress reaction in his knee. Due to him having surgery, he was not expected to return this season. Thus, it makes sense for the Suns to waive him and open up another spot on their 15-man roster.

When healthy, Kaminsky was having himself a solid start to the season. In nine games played, he averaged 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Overall, it's fair to say that the big man was productive, but his injury, unfortunately, made his year end far too quickly.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see what the Suns do with their roster from here. Expect to see them bring in another player very shortly.
