Pistons Sign Forward To Two-Way Contract

The Detroit Pistons have signed Braxton Key to a two-way contract.

Key had been under a 10-day with Detroit and was very solid in the process. In five games during it, he averaged 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 0.4 assists. With that, he had a pretty significant role, as he averaged 20.4 minutes per contest. With all of this, it is easy to understand why they have opted to give him this two-way deal.

Key also has had a strong season with the Delaware Blue Coats, too. In 31 games with the G League team, he has averaged 18.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. Thus, it's been a pretty solid year for the 25-year-old, and he will now be aiming to keep this momentum going with Detroit.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see if this leads to an eventual long-term home for Key. Yet, for now, he will be under this two-way deal for the remainder of the season.
