Anfernee Simons Gets Massive $100M Deal

He exploded onto the scene this season, becoming a breakout star for the Portland Trail Blazers, upping his scoring average by 10 points a game. Word started to leak that, as a free agent, he could secure about $80M. The Blazers have one-upped that, and secured their 22-year-old shooting star for 4 years and $100M.

Simons averaged 17.3 points and 3.9 assists in 29.5 minutes per game, shooting 40.5% percent from three.

And as a starter, those numbers were even more impressive:

22 points, 5.5 assists and 42% from behind the arc. It's no wonder Portland went all-in to re-sign him.

With Damian Lillard, Simons, and the newly-acquired Jerami Grant, the Trail Blazers have some serious offense. We'll see how they can shore up at the defensive end of the floor.
